Terms of Service

Effective date: March 28, 2026

1. Agreement

By using WebDone (“webdone.ca”) or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and WebDone regarding our services.

2. Services

WebDone provides website design and development services for local businesses. Our standard package includes:

  • A professional, mobile-responsive website
  • Up to 5 pages (Home, About, Services, Gallery/Portfolio, Contact)
  • Domain registration (1 year included)
  • 12 months of hosting
  • One round of revisions after delivery

Exact deliverables for your order will be confirmed via email before we begin work. Any services not listed above are out of scope and may require an additional fee.

3. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of order. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes. We use Stripe for secure payment processing. By purchasing, you authorize us to charge the amount shown at checkout.

Renewal of hosting after the first 12 months is optional and subject to a separate fee (currently $97/year CAD). We will contact you before your hosting expires.

4. Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy for full details. In summary: you may request a full refund within 48 hours of purchase if work has not yet begun. Once we have started building your site, refunds are not available.

5. Your Responsibilities

To deliver your website, you agree to:

  • Respond to our requests for content (text, photos, logo) within 14 days of your order
  • Provide accurate business information
  • Own or have rights to any content you provide
  • Review and approve the preview link we send you

If you do not provide required content within 30 days of purchase, we may close your project. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment and final delivery, you own the content of your website (text, images you provided). WebDone retains the right to display your website in our portfolio and to reuse template elements and code for other clients. We do not claim ownership of your business name, logo, or content.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use our services to create websites that:

  • Promote illegal activities
  • Contain hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
  • Infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Distribute spam or malware

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate hosting for sites that violate these terms, without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

WebDone’s total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or revenue) even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

We do not guarantee specific business results (e.g., search rankings, increased sales) from having a website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Manitoba.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify existing customers of material changes by email.
